I'm Looking forward to putting my hands on a few of them. I'm very interested to see how much better the new gears will be. It's amazing how far the light weight reels are coming. I know it's not important to everyone, but I like them. I just wish they wouldn't reveal things until they were available. I hate waiting!

I see the premiers have the same drag system as the mgx.. The mgx drag system is [censored] and they shear off after a few times on the water..Very disappointed to see this.

Cborden, I assume you are referring to the breaking system, not the drag. Either way, these reels are going to be awesome! (Hopefully.)

I don't like that gear housing to be so big. Seems like every time they come out with a new model, its bigger.

The big gear housing allows them to make the palm side lower, while still being able to house a full sized gear.

Im looking forward to seeing them myself and im a shimano guy! Ive had to keep an open mind on reels these days and have used other brands. I still love my curados, old ones and the e series but ive fished with both the sx and the premier and i never had any issues with them. I think sometimes guys get caught up with using one brand because the pros do but i would do the same if i had a sponsor lol. Im sure these reels will meet and exceed everyones expectations.

I have a first generation SX lefty. I love it. It is on a Vendetta. My trout killer.

I want the premier, looks awesome and seems fairly priced.

Its not about how many fish you catch or how big they are, its about the memories you make catching those fish.

As always, tight lines!
