Just curious about this. I have never sunk any pine but am haveing 8-10 pine trees taken out of the yard and will have plenty of pine scrap to dispose of. I live on a lake so I can either sink it or burn it. Is it worth sinking or should I just burn it?

Burn it....I very very very rarely have caught fish on pine and almost everyone i know has same luck. I personally think its the bark sap the tree puts off

fished rayburn one time when it was 14 ft high

went back into the woods and was throwing a 3/4 oz spinner bait

As you know there are a ton of pine trees and I never caught one by a pine tree.

I only caught fish next to hardwoods, especially when you would find a good sized sweet gum.

that was one hell of a pattern that day, caught over a 100 fish.

So pine will not work.
