I just took my rods and reels down to the gulf of Mexico and fished, need to clean then good and well. Any tips on good ways of cleaning them?
Lake o the Pines is my home and will always be. The place I learned to swim, bass fish, and praise the lord

My Revo papers say to wash it with clean water and re-lube everything. I put mine in a bowl of water and swish em around, take an old toothbrush for the stuck on stuff and let it dry overnight then grease and oil em up.

youtube, do a search on reel cleaning.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know when to go fishing.

Take it appart piece by piece laying it out in order take pics and make sure u use salt away. Take a short stiff paint brush cut it down so it's stiff. Use wd40 and an air tank or compressed air to get it good and clean.
Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.
