Headed out to Lake Gilmer tomorrow afternoon for a evening and night trip. Just wondering if anyone had any general ideas of the lake of any suggestions that might be helpful. Thanks and will post a report when we get back.

Deep ledges. The swim area up by the dam produces well. You will see a big point up by the spillway. Its pretty good early then go deep later in the day. I know it sounds pretty typical but thats all i got.

Shalow or deep? What kind of lures? Might try it this weekend.

Don't believe the talk about lake Gilmer. It is devoid of fish, a barren wasteland of nothingness. Go elsewhere.

partyonNo really, that lake is awesome!
