I've never fished purtis creek before, but am thinking about going over there early tomorrow morning. How has the bite been lately? If its bad, then I will go to either athens or houston county. Any purtis creek regulars out there?

Try Mill Creek if you haven't been there. It's a smaller lake and has plenty of structure/cover and good sized bass.
