For the last 6 months I have been using Lake Fork Trophy Lures new Fluorotex line in the 8 lb. orange color, and have been really pleased with it. You can buy it online at http://www.lftlures.com/categories/fishing-line-fluorotex-panfishIt is a mono line with a fluorocarbon coating that really improves the lines ability to keep it's shape and resist abrasion. It is definitely not your traditional mono line! I have also been experimenting with braid again. Right now, I have one reel spooled with 20/6 PowerPro. It is definitely a different feel when the fish strikes the jig!

My ultralights have 10 pound, my medium have 14 and I've got 20 on the "heavy" rods. All Berkeley fireline braid.
