My dad, my friend Jon and I all came down to Falcon lake from VA and had a great time fishing with Jay. We brought our own boat down and he gave us a map and told us some spots that we should check out. He even let us come to his house the night we arrived to print out our fishing licenses since FLT was closed. One of the spots he told us about really had the fish stacked up. We caught loads of fish all week long, with our worst day (if you can call it that) being about 30 fish and the best 5 about 33lbs. We had been fishing shallow but we went out with Jay in his boat on Tuesday and he showed us some deeper humps and points that had a lot of good fish on them as well. We caught close to 40 fish that day with several over 7lbs and the biggest at 9lbs4oz. Jay was happy to allow 3 of us on his boat, which some guides did not like. He also has a gps guided trolling motor which makes it very nice so no one has to stand on the pedal all day. If youre planning a trip to Falcon and are looking for a guide, I would certainly recommend you contact Jay (Martin) Greishaw. I plan to add pictures and a video from our trip once I figure out how. Your net man is welcome to fish with me anyday. That was the greatest net work I have ever seen. I thought taking the hat, shirt and glasses were already grade a effort but jumping into the lake took it to a entirely different level
