some sandie or hybrids.. so which lake os on fire. My son 9 and we bass fish but that can get slow so he wants som action.

Seems all the area lakes are doing pretty good right now. I suggest you find the body of water you want to fish and hire you a guide! That is the easiest way to put your son on a bunch of fish! Good luck!
I do enjoy a good Squirt now and then.

Tawakoni has had a very good shallow sand bass bite on the north side of the lake in10-14 feet on humps, but big time rain right now more than 1.5 inches so far.

hubbard has been doing well. tomorrow would be a good day to come out and just ask somebody on the water where they are catching them. Im sure somebody would volunteer some info. oh and check your PM's

Eagle Mountain has been good lately. We have been catchIng limits by the dam. Troll up and down slopes and drop offs until you find them. We have been catching them from 30-40ft. The bite is slower for us in the morning but we have caught them schooling beside the fort worth yacht club. Head to the dam around lunch time and you will find them fairly easy. If the rain lets up we will be out there tomorrow morning and will be glad to show you.

Thanks for all the info. I let my son decide and he wants to go to benbrook. We live 10 mintues from the Lake but have never been. I just hope he catches some fish

Hey Coach - Sorry it took so long to reply. Been on the lake everyday adn the fishing is still outstanding! Bigs 17" white bass mornings and evenings. IF ya'll don''t get what you're looking for on Benbrook, give me a call and lets talk. The fishing on Richalnd Chambers has been just incredible.
The mornings have had awesome topwater action lasting over an hour resulting in limits of fish in the first hour or less!
