 Directions to Clear Lake?

Hey everyone, Kelly recommended Clear Lake to me and I thought I might take the ol' flat bottom and my fishin buddy out there Sunday. If I just take 287 North in Decatur will I see the lake right there off the highway or is there some little side road I have to take off 287 first? Never been out there before and I know thats a popular lake for you t00bers 
You can have the fastest boat, most powerful trolling motor, and most advanced fish finder. But at some point you still have to learn how to fish.
