Has anyone ever hooked a rock on a crankbait by both trebles? I did and even yelled out "Good Fish". It even dives from side to side. The only reason I am admitting this is because someone on this forum was along with me and I'm trying to save some embarrassment to myself.

Never caught a rock, but I did catch an old plastic gallon milk carton at Grapevine once. I was about 1/2 full of mud/muck and water. As it came up thru the water column it provided resistance, and when I lowered the rod and cranked, it fluttered thru the water as it fell. I thought it was a hawgus maximus! Kelly

I hooked a monster cat. Fought him for 5 minutes. Watched him thrash around so i knew it was a fish. He wrapped around a log and broke free while I fought the log for another 20 minutes......
You know WWIII has started when the French surrender!

I did something similar to Kelly, at the pier at Ray Bob. Dragging slabs across the bottom, I hooked a plastic package, looked like something walkie-talkies might have come in or something, and as I reeled it, it fluttered and fought. I was quite proud of myself until I got it to the surface.
