What is a good spinning reel for drop shot? Not looking to break the bank, but willing to spend at least 100.00 or a little more.

I'm with Jedfish. That Supreme is a nice reel for the price. I'm also hearing good things about the Abu Garcia Orra line up, although I personally haven't tried them yet,

Shimano's always a good brand. I'm a huge fan of the Stradic CI4 reel. Pretty high dollar but you can't beat the quality. Another nice reel is the the Pflueger President.

Go with Shimano and whatever model you would like to spend. Good advice - I use a Sahara, about $80
In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.
