Anyone replaced one of these? Can it be done at home or does it need to go to a repair location?

Mine does not read the bottom all the time. Wigs-out and doesn't read anything; just sits there on 1.9 ft with a screen full of colors! Lowrance 522c.

Suggestions...

needs to be done at a repair shop,

go fish fork and then make a trip to onsite repair near lake fork marina. they can most likely do it while you wait.
