I got a rod built by Reel Time Rods that is less than $100 that I would put up against any rod costing $150-200 as far as sensitivity and overall feel. Plus it was built to my specs for the way I am using it and the baits I use on it 100% of the time. You won't and can't get that with a cookie cutter rod.
