Help!! I just moved to El Paso, TX and I need some assistance in finding fishing area's. I tried Elephant Butte, did ok, but was wondering what else is available. I am also looking for a Bass Club in the area? If anyone can provide any information it would be greatly appreciated... Troy.Asmus@gmail.com

Thank you....

Good luck! I grew up in El Paso but haven't lived there since 1977. Ascarate sucks, don't waste your time. Trout fishing in New Mexico is good. Frog gigging in the canal in the lower valley is awesome. Your bass fishing choices are limited but here are a few. Asarco lake over by the sun bowl (big smoke stacks south of interstate. The gas plants on the NE side of town along with the one on the E side of town each have a nice lake w/ bass. Delnorte golf course lakeuse to have bass in it. You will have to get in stealth/ninja mode and sneak in those places. Best thing you can do is haul [censored] 10 hrs. to Ivie or Amistad or better yet 13 hrs. To Falcon.
