Wanted to set a date out there, know this is Memorial day weekend, but this event is for Saturday Morning, be back home by mid afternoon. Family is welcome and could be a lot of fun.

How about a fun day of fishing and just general Kayaking. Be a good event for all these new people on the forum, bring your new kayak, bring your old kayak, just come out and play. If you do not have a kayak let us know, we will find you one. (Limited Naturally)

I am sure we can find some prizes for a Kayak Fishing event, and a paddling event. Been a while since we had a little race.

Great idea! Will have to check and see if there have been any plans already made for that weekend that I don't know about but hoping to make this and should know for sure soon.

Talked to the wife about this last night and we definitely want to come if the "weekend" doesn't get in the way ... in addition to the holiday, our youngest turns 16 on the 29th, so not sure what he may have planned for the weekend. But since this is just a half day, I think we will be able to swing it.

After meeting and talking to both you and your wife at the GTG, my wife has mentioned several times how much fun one of your mixed fishing/rec paddling trips sound.

When are you planning on making a decision regarding the location? I'm not gonna vote until I can be more sure that we will be there.

Have not made a decision, been very busy lately, on lake choice, right now it is a tie between Grapevine and White Rock lake.

But we still have a ways before the event. Mainly just wanted to get a date out, makes it easier for eveyone to plan.
