Try a dropshot rig around shore veggies/ reeds in the cove to the right of the power plant, use a 4" zoom dead ringer Wat-Mln Red or Green pumpkin dip just the curly tail chartruse. Set the hook about 8" above the weight. The Owner #1 riggin hook is perfect and even a novice GF will hook almost any fish that bites. You may not get anything big there but they usually bite good.

Crank the rock rip rap with a med diving crank in a citrus shad pattern bait like the Bomber fat free shad, cast out 5ft from the rocks parallel keep the boat out 20ft from the edge. If the wind is not too bad you can get some good fish with the larger 3/4oz FF Shad around the corner rip rap on the bridges.

You will get bit cheers

Oddly enough, there's another Dallas Fireman named Doug E Fresh on here. He fishes Hubbard all the time up in the river! He even takes a tent and pitches on the bank and sleeps there so he can be the 1st one up there each and every morning.

Give him a shout in a PM and he'll getcha fixed right up.
