Yes, I have a home there. Holly Lake is about 50 acres, lots of grass and pads. Pretty good for numbers. Has a boat ramp but big motor may only be used for loading/unloading. Lake Greebriar is ~200 acres and deep. Big, steep boat ramp and you may use your big motor to run it. Two main creek channels feed into the lake. One on the west side, one on the east. Good bass lake and crappie lake. Both lakes are black, tanic water and visibility is pretty good. I've done best on jigs and plastics, but mainly only fish it in the spring. Too many boats, jet skis on the lake in the summer.

I'm not aware of any white bass in those lakes.

Not sure if we're referring to the same Holly Lake. The one I'm talking about is Holly Lake Ranch, TX outside of Hawkins. There are no sand bass nor spotted bass in the lakes, so I'm confused by some of the info in the link you provided. Also, the guide listings. Holly Lake Ranch lakes are private and there are no "guides."

Holly Lake Ranch is divided by HWY 2869. The west side is where Holly Lake and Whispering Pines Lakes are. The east side is where Lake Greenbriar is.

Yes, that is the right place, but there are no whites nor spots. Bream, crappie, catfish, largemouth and threadfin shad.

You bet. They'll eat a chatter bait, too.

I've been fishing Greenbriar (the bigger lake by the Gold coarse) for 20 years and it has some great fish in it.

I've had succes with down sizing my line and baits. Heaviest line I use is 12lbs. Senko I throw mostly weightless or split shot senkos and lizards. Every once in awhile I'll throw a wacky rig.

Greenbriar has a well defined outside grass line that will hold a good concentration of fish.

Fish will also hold tight to standing timber

Where the two forks meets the main lake is an excellent point that extends out past the bouy.

Small spinnerbait and trap with a blade on it has been kind to me to.

Any update on how this lake is fishing right now? (Greenbriar)

I like going out there, perfect for the type of fishing I do.
