About 7:15 this morning I'm on the trolling motor, threading on a plastic, and fighting the wind. All of a sudden, BAM, hit a stump. For the first time ever I end up in the water. Fast forward to 9:25. Same situation resulting in my second trip to the drink. Unfortunately it cost me my phone but I was able to get to my motor and ride it back up before my partner could stop laughing and get a picture.

Twice in the same day, huh ? That is an exclusive club. I went in twice in the same day last year but one time was on purpose to put the plug in. LOL.

I joined the "I've fallen in the water once in a day" club in January of this year and lost my phone too. Luckily it was a mild winter, but it was one of the few cold post-front days and I had plenty of layers on and I was by myself. Your club is much more exclusive.

Don't feel too bad. I joined the "leave the motor toter attached and then come up on plane and chew it up, ding the prop and knock about 4" off your skag" club today...

I haven't joined that club yet but my partner in a Bass Champs a couple years back has and swore I changed directions to fast on purpose to knock him out. Laughed so hard. It was unintentional but since he hasn't spoken to me since I sure haven't lost sleep over it.

Im a member and it was early spring in Kansas. Very cold, and very hard to get back in the boat with as cold as it was. I did not stay out long enough for it to happen again. Twice in one day your not living right.

Came close, but thanks to a fisher angel who was loading up and honked their horn as I was backing up the boat. Thought about what would have happened if I left it on, now I know.
