Has anyone used it?

Is it worth the $20?

Yes and Yes. Gulp will catch you fish- just maybe not the fish you want. Trash fish love the bait too. But, if you're on the right flavor you can wear your arm out. Great for beginners.

Cool... thanks.

I've heard good things, but I'll find out for sure next week. I bought the natural color... from reviews it looks like the penny color performs best.

Do I just carolina rig and pop along the botom?

Gulps are great. Just don't leave it on the hook at the end of the day. You will have to cut it off with a knife.

Only real drawback is it catches trash fish like HardHeads.

Just throw it on a jig head.

Gulp will catch it all, and for me it is the New Penny 3". Fish it on a jig head and with or without a popping cork. I even know some guys who fish it on the bottom like live bait for redfish.

Good Luck and Tight Lines.

C-Rig is fine but not necessary. Throwing it on a jig head and bouncing is good. You cant go wrong with New Penny, but its more effective at certain times of year. I always have a bag of green gulp mullet in case the bite is super tough

Has anyone tried the natural shrimp? That's what I have... wondering if I should go get the New Penny, but don't want to spend another $20.

Through the head. Same way on a popping cork with enough leader usually to get it close to the bottom. The pop is the key.

You might want to consider the Molting Shrimp color it is the most consistent color for me along with Lime Tiger. I can normally get it done with those.
