 got some fat worms and red wigglers from the yard

some of the worms when relaxed measure over 12 inches and 1/4 an inch around, some are 1 inch and 1/4 asnd inch around, got em in my worm farm thing and put some oates for themn to feed on and should have a steady supply in no time....the rain really got the wormas up at the surface of the ground using a garden spade i got about 40 worms in just three scoops.

Nice!!! Wish I had a worm friendly yard. My yard has about 1/4" dirt from the sod and under that is solid rock!
I once decided to plant a couple of small bushes in a bed one Spring. After about 3 hours using a pick axe to dig a 1 foot deep hole, I will never plant another thing in my yard again!!

Sounds like a plan BDDD. Got any pictures of your worm farm thing? I'm thinking of setting up something myself. its just the frabill white box with two air holes, they give you newspaper to wet down and use, but i use dirt and oatmeal for food.
