We had our championship on HC this past weekend. two completely different days. saturday was calm and slick. sunday windy and rough!! as yall know the only two ramps are the hubbard creek ramp and the dam ramp. I chose the creek ramp saturday moprning. I couldnt get bit up the creek. i left and unloaded at the dam ramp at 10:30 that morning.

first spot i went too i caught a 7.40 and a 4 and some smaller fish. went to another area and finally caught a 2. the wind completely died and so did the bite. i ended the day 3 fish for 13.40.

day two i started on the main lake and never cuaght a fish until 8. then it was on!!! i probably caught about 20 keepers all day. with my five best being 23.14. my two big fish were 5.90 and 5.94. i caught the 5.94 , a 4, and a 2 off the same stump!!! on three cast in a row. i finished in 3rd. the winner had 20 the first day and 22 the second. second had 21 the fist day and 16 the second. i was about a pound out of second. then i busted a belt in a trailer tire on the way home so there went my profit!!!! by the if you dont have a set of the ardent culling balls and a decent scale get some! they are worth the money.
