I'm heading up to fish above Milam for a few days. I normally fish the south end. Will be at a friend's camp on Patroon Bayou.

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

Was there 3/21 - 3/25 so the water clarity has probably changed. We stayed at Holly Park, and fished Patroon the first day. Water was very muddy and coming up fast from the rain. Found decent water in clear creek, and managed to catch a few on flukes and T-rigged soft plastics in the brush.
Trailerd down to Indian mounds the rest of the time. Water was gin clear, and a lot of boats. Fished the flats, and brush on the banks with soft plastics, and caught them pretty good.
Saw surface temps right at 70deg at the highest. The last day we were there, they started letting water out of the lake to allow for more runoff.
Also picked up a few on top with a yellow magic early and late in the day.
