I loaded up the yak yesterday and after the fog lifted I headed to Waterloo Lake to catch some crappie. I went to all my usual spots first and, no crappie. So, I started searching for areas where crappie might be bunched up. I wound up catching about a dozen from around a dozen different spots. Most were drinks but I did manage 4 keepers. The poor old guy bank fishing sure does like the guy in that "funny colored boat" now that he has 4 nice crappie in his freezer. All fish were caught on live minnows lip hooked on a 1/32 ounce jig head in about 9 to 10 feet deep water.

Looks like a nice, calm spot for a paddle and some good catching to go along with it. Glad you had a good float, Rev!

Good job Jerry. I was amazed how well you throw that fly rod in your kayak.
