Was wanting to know how many stored your boat in a storage unit and where. Just bought a boat and having a hard time getting it in and out of my small space. Looking at a uncovered location which is affordable and close but no coverage

I store my boat at a storage facility outside. I pay $63 a month. Between my 18ft boat and Suburban there is not enough room in the alley to get it parked in back. I need for the alley to be 2ft wider. If i'm going fishing I picked it up the day before and charge the batteries overnight before hitting the lake.

I pay $40 a month for outside storage about a mile from my house. I dont have the space in the driveway or garage to store my boat plus my truck and wife's explorer.

There are several places in McKinney that have boat storage, both indoors and outdoors.

If you can get reasonable inside storage, do it. Your boat will last much longer. Not to mention the tires alone.

Parker Road RV Storage. Small sites $40 a month uncovered. On Parker road just past CR 2551 by Southfork Ranch. Fully fenced in and your security code to get in & out. They know who comes in and leaves! Manager has office on site and lives in the brick home on site.

You can pick your boat up on the way to Lavon. I've kept my 5th wheel there for 4 years without any problems.

I store my boat at the Party Barn RV and Boat Storage in Wylie. I have a 12ftx25ft covered (not enclosed) storage space with electricity for $830/year ($70/month). Storage site is located just south of Wylie East High School and 5-10 minutes from East Fork ramps on Lavon.

Has good security. A code unique to each tenant is required to get in and out of the facility. It also has on site cameras.

I have kept my boat there for the past 6 years and have had no issues.

One note: If you look up the Party Barn, it will show it on FM544. That is the main office and regular storage facility. The RV and Boat Storage is separate. They don't advertise their facility, but prefer to just use word of mouth. The facility is 80-90% full right now.
