Going to fish Fork for the first time next Mon. & Tue. Was hoping some of ya all could recommend good baits to pack for this time of year.

Jigs, lizards, spinnerbaits, sqarebills, and traps. I like to primarily throw a jig because it seems like they produce the biggest fish for me. Good luck.

We threw natural color LFT hyper sticks. Watermelon red, green pumpkin etc. a blk/blue jig with blk/blue craw seemed to work on beds also

watermelon red flake and black and blue, jigs and plastics would just about get you by all year in east texas and this is probably the best time of yr to throw jigs and plastics.

Watermelon, green pumpkin, blknblu, in the spring I throw lots of wacky rig and Carolina rig worms, ring fry, and creature baits. Drop shot when they are not aggressive. Bring chartreuse dye too.

Yep, the Dodge Ram Tournament should have well over 1000 anglers. Fork will be busy.
