the roads will probley be blocked off due to high water and the creek will be flowing very hard and a muddy mess.

9000 cfs flowing through there about 3 hours ago. Going to be a while before it's fishable. That creek takes forever to clear.

Road was closed today. Water was overflowing the creek and rising all the up to the bridge. Should fill Lewisville nicely.

Lewisville is 2' up right now! As of the 22nd. Crazy. Creek oughta fish well eventually once the levels come back down and it's cleared up a bit.

Crazy to think not that long ago it had almost no water in it, and now, you can't fish it till the water goes back DOWN. Nuts.

Any reports today? I'm thinking about hitting the creek this evening, primarily for catfish and/or sandies. Is the water still way up?

I went out yesterday afternoon, water was about 3 feet higher than before the rains, moving pretty quick and looked like coffee with cream. I was way upstream from the bridge, bite was slow but turned on right before dark. Most sandies were in the 11-12 inch range, hybrids are starting to show up, saw one caught that was about 20 inches.

Fished from 3-5 today and caught 30 keepers and a few dinks, all still swimming. They were hitting anything white that was going real slow. No hybrids tho, disappointing but still a great day to be out, especially when there's not anyone else around and youve got the creek to yourself.

I went again yesterday with my daughter, but this time I went upstream away from the lake. Neither one of us got a bite. I was throwing a white roadrunner and she threw a lil fishy.
