 Coil cost on Pro XS?

I dropped a coil on my merc, it's at the dealer right now about to get fixed. I'm pretty sure it's still under warranty, but if not what kinda bill am I looking at?

Stump on my 2008 Merc 175 Pro XS I dropped one, they have a recall on some models and replaced all six of mine. Dang sure worth asking. Not sure the cost, it was covered!

If its a 2007 2008 250-225 merc should replace all 6 for free

If its under warranty they should be replacing all of your coils Have replaced a coil or two on my merc but dont remember the cost. I do know that you dont want to have to pay out of pocket to replace all of them. Under warranty mercury replaces all coils now.

How did you know it was a coil issue? I think I have a coil going bad in my 2011.

My 175 would not get over about 4000 rpms, I thought I had spun the prop. No power at all.

they fixed my on the recall, the bill for 6 on my 250 ProXS was $3,200.00 before they scratched it out.

If it is an 08, make them replace all of them, they are junk, not just the one.

Texasbasshunter, I don't know what they were showing you but changing all of the coils out is around $1000.00.
