man what a difference a couple feet of water makes. Not as much trash or as muddy as I was expecting. Didn't look like any water coming from Lavon. Did catch a couple largemouths and a ton of sandbass.

I know. I caught them all on a Chatterbait. Never would have picked a Chatterbait as a sandbass lure.

there were plenty up there today but they all cleared out about 3 I think. I did see a bunch of boats lined up at bass pro for a weigh in. What tourney was that?

It was all of the Lady Pros. Not sure what the association is called.

It was day 2 of the LBAA opener. A bunch of them said they ran the river but there were no real heavy ones brought in from the river that I know of. At least nobody brought that pig in that was posted here a week or so ago. Big bass for the tourney was caught in Bay View, 6.83 on day one.

I would look for crappie near the golf course area. Should be some reed crappie in that area making sweet love.
