Thanks to all the great folks at Marine Sails and the guys giving the seminar on Saturday I pulled the trigger on a new Outback. Hope to get it wet today and start on a new adventure in fishing.

Took her out for a test ride this afternoon. Didn't get wet!
Caught 4 crappie, 4 bass and a turtle. Got a good workout and learned a lot about how I want to rig her.

You made a great choice in kayaks. The Outback will serve you well for a long well to come. Maybe we will get to paddle together at Lake Fork sometime this summer.

wow business is good lately. Seems like lots of people are buying kayaks. And mostly hobies! It does seem like business is good ... and the choice of boats seems to go in cycles. Seems like only a couple of months ago, almost everything I saw was people getting the new WS Rides. Now its amazing how many of the "new yak posts" are either Hobie's or Jackson's.
This might be the weirdest, most pointless post ever.  I am not against golf, since I cannot but suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering fishing

That is the good thing about shopping @ Mariner Sails. They have a wide selection to choose from and Mike will help you find exactly what you want. I got my Outback from them about a month ago and I'm loving it.
