Had Bret and Alex Wright out for a trip today. Caught 75 all on ole Ugly slabs and flies. Fish were scattered and had to work for each and everyone. Then late in the trip we found them stacked on a mid lake hump . Thanks to Lip Rip for the heads up I owe him one.A real fun trip even if it was a little slow. We all kept after it and ended up with a decent day.

P.S. Fish were caught on a 25 to 27 ft. humps. Water temp 59.

Went out today and hit walnut looking for crappie....and I got skunked! So whent out and found the whites stacked on a flat! Had our fill!

Alex and I had a ball today and learned alot. Thank you so much for all the hard work you and your grandson put in to get us on the fish. I forgot to buy some slabs from you so I will get with you later on that. Again, thanks. You made a young boy very happy today.

I am taking my baby sister out there in the morning. I sure hope the fishing gets better!!

We ended with 70, kept 50. Windy but what a great day with the wife and kids!! Johnny, you looked plum wore out!

Good to see you out this morning again Johnny. It seems like every time I see you lately you have a boat full of smiles. I ended up with 50 or so. I had all of the surf I could stand. All fish caught on you guessed it.... Ole Ugly slabs and flies. The bite is so light lately I bet I missed three times as many as I actually caught. Maybe see you out on Sunday. I have a friend who is not a believer yet. I gotta get him on a slab bite so he knows what he is missing.
Oh and by the way...... You definately don't owe me one. You can just take one off of all the ones I owe you!

He is not use to working much and spring break caught up with the ol' coot.

I have been missing a few of my naps this week. Been a real busy week but a fun one.

Lip, how do I keep missin you!? What boat are you in?

Proud, I am in an old 1983 Skeeter red/white with a 40hp Mariner. I usually fish on Fridays. I have been off this week with my 12 year old son for spring break so I have been let off my chain a little more this week than normal. Let me know when your gonna be out there next and I will make it a point to look you up at the AC or on the lake. I am doing brakes on my truck today but will try to get out in the morning.
