Does anybody know why they still have not opened the North Dalrock boat ramp on Lake Ray Hubbard now that the lake is full?

I was told by the City of Dallas several weeks ago that the ramp would not B opened until it could B completely redone. They guestimated the time frame anywhere from late April to late May. So we will see.

Wonder why they did not do the work while the water was low?

That and funds....with all the former and current crooks that work for the City of Dallas it is no surprise.

With two functioning ramps on the other side of the highway, I don't see Dallas paying to have this done. The ramp is broken in several places and will have to be torn out and completely rebuilt. Heck, it took them forever just to bring out a very small load of rocks to fill the craters in the road going to the ramp.

not my favorite ramp either. I dont suppose it would be entirely terrible if it weren't any longer. Although, I always did like the "beachability" there.

Because the City of Dallas is run by a bunch of complete IMBECILES!!! Whats even worse than the fact that the ramp is still closed is that this entire time that it has been closed they didn't even bother to take advantage of the lack of traffic and FIX THE ROAD!!! This accompanied with the number auto thefts and break ins on that lake IS A TOTAL JOKE!!!

It was the best free ramp on the lake. I never had a problem with it. It needs to be reopened.

The problem is that all of the ramps on Dalrock are right on the highway. Super easy in and out access for thieves.
