my water up here in okieland is muddy where i crappie fish....what colors for muddy water and what colors for clear water....thanks so much ...bill

Lighter colors for clearer water. Darker colors for darker/muddy water. For muddy water, I like blacks,copper,orange, browns, reds, blues, greens. And to hedge my bet I like to have some chartreuse on it..

For some reason, recently when Kickapoo Creek here was running chocolate milk, Electric Chicken plastic's were killin um. That and combo's with flor. orange and/or chart yellow in them.

Blue lake fork baby shad has done well for me this week.

I like to use Black/green or Blue on clear and muddy water.

might try blk/pink or pumkin/chart

I know Todd Huckabee killed em yesterday on blk/pink on Eufala using some of YUM F2 spray also.

I have had good sucess in muddy water with black/orange and brown/orange color combinations.

What about at night??? What colors, light or dark??

The only color I have done good on at night is white.

In muddy water I use white/oragne/white.

At night I use all black!

In muddy water... electric chicken or some shade of purple. at night any glow color or Texas avacodo.

I had great luck with the Spawnie yesterday at Roberts. Right up to the point when I lost the last one in the mouth on a nice female. Just ordered 10 more. Pink/black/pink was next. Great jigs.
