If you had your choice, which one would you go with?
Which ratio for worms and jigs.

7:1 chronarch or curado e. I honestly think they are better made and the reels than the revos

Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.

Revo stx. One of the Better ones made. Period. Like them Better than the 15 or so premiers I have. I throw a 6.3:1

Out of those two, I'd go with a Chronarch. The stx is a great reel but I don't notice a difference between it and all my sx's. Now the premier, there is a definite improvement but not really on the stx.

And the repainted curado is one of the best looking reels out there unless you start buying diawa type r's.

I would go with a gear ratio of 7 so you can catch up to the fish that pick up your bait and run with it. I think the old Chronarch would have the edge over the STX but in the new Chronarch I would go with the STX hands down.

Agreed. I have several SX's and can't tell a difference between them an my one STX. I'm guessing the difference is in the material used to make some of the internal components, upgraded bearings or something.

I would also say there is not much different in the old SX and STX but the new STX has the new system that as Magnetic and friction brake so you can take the right cover off and adjust the friction brake put the cover back on and dial in with the magnetic brake so you will not back lash the old STX only had the magnetic brake.

I bought a coulpe of Cores from Shawn and that is one sweet reel I've been using Shimanos for years as well and they are hard to beat...
