What different action does a squarebilled crank have than a coffin shaped one or a plain round one? I'm just asking because lately ive been seeing people mention square bills specifically.

Squarebills tend to have a wide wobble and kinda hunt from side to side naturally. The most important thing is that they deflect off of cover really good and don't get hung as often as other crankbaits. You can throw a squarebill in places you simply can't throw alot of other crankbaits and come through without getting hung up.
