I own a jon boat but hardly ever use it cause the lake I fish is hard to fish with out a depth finder. Its a small lake but there are some big bass in it. Ive seen it at its lowest so im pretty familiar with the stumps and sand bars. With all that being said the reason for this post is to see if anyone with a nice fishing rig in the houston area wanted to try this place out. Ive never been in a bass boat and have been dying to fish out of one. If anyone has a friday or sunday to kill please let me know. I will help with expenses. The lake is located in missouri city. Hope to hear from someone soon.

I only know of 2 in Missouri City that have launches. 1 looks awesome near the beltway and the other 1 is across from the softball fields?

That place looks bassy. I went and checked it out about a month ago and the water was still way too low to launch my boat. Has it come up a lot recently?

Yes its up. Ive been catching them off the bank but its not the same. I know of a perfect spot there that looks like the mecca of bass beds.

If I don't leave my boat at Toledo this weekend, we will try and hook up next week. Been wanting to fish there for a couple of years.

Theyre moving in! Caught this one on a shallow sand bar yesterday evening. Anyone have time to go out this morning?
