I am headed to Palestine tomorrow and was wondering if anyone has a Neches River update. I will be putting in at the 31 bridge.

You planning on just fishing the river or using it to fish the lake

I figured they were in the river, so I was going to just fish the river.

Talked to a friend that went today and he said Neches is really low now, almost too low to use his boat. He went upstream as far as he could, only got one fish all morning. Says we need another rain to make it productive again. He won't be going back unless we do get a substantial rain.

Well with that report, I may have to hit the main lake. Any tips for that

They are in the lake. I caught my limit.

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
