I haven't fished Kirby in a long time. We drove by it the other weekend and it still looked so low and the water looked really murky.

They are there small spinnerbaits or large bettlespins(Cheap) if your walking the bank. Be prepared to lose a lot of lures.

Went out yesterday evening and fished a cove on the east side from the bank. Had no luck tossing a Texas rigged trick worm, but I caught a decent bass on a spinnerbait. Other fishermen nearby were having luck on cranks and spinnerbaits and the fish that were caught were all very shallow.
Good Luck!

Good Luck! nice report! We were out for maybe a hour the other day and fished spinnerbaits quickly down the east side with no bites. Went back through with some jigs in some of the coves with no bites again. Hopefully do better this weekend!

saw a buddy pull a 4lb saugeye out Sunday on a t-rigged plactic worm...it was crazy! First time I have seen a saugeye caught in person.

We have been having good luck on the point between the boat dock and fishing pier with roadrunners/beetle spins. We have ONLY caught fish when we downsize from spinners/jigs to roadrunners so far.
