I had the chance to take out the Hobie Quest 11 yesterday while fishing with Tom and Shaun out on Ray Hubbard. I was pleasantly surprised on how well it paddled and the stability of a smaller yak. The weight capacity of this yak is only 300lbs but it handled me (220lbs) and gear great. It also was not a problem keeping up with the guys in their longer yaks. We fished a nine hour day and didn't have any issues. If you guys or are looking into getting your kids or girls kayaks I would check them out at Mariner Kayaks (Sails). This is going to be one of the HOW boats so I wanted to test the waters out before we got one of the guys out in it.

Here is a picture of how high the kayak sat up in the water with me and my great. Also has a tackle box between your legs and pouches on each side that I stored by soft plastics in.

Great kayak.

It looked like it did really great and sat well also. I was impressed with how fast it was. I'll be taking out it's big brother (Quest 13) in the next week or two to see if it shares the same traits.

And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
