Well I will post a non guide report so everyone will know that y'all need to hire one of the GREAT GUIDES on Hubbard and get in on some of this action. .

Got out to the lake later than I thought around 8:30 am moving slow this morning. Went out to where J.Varner was and tried to stay north of him best as I could not to interfere with a working man. Good to see you again John looks like y'all had a heck of a day. So I started fishing and was waiting on Terry and Ray to get through with there breakfast LOL . I put 15 FAT sandies in the live well and threw back 6 or so before they showed up. Ran into Fish-n-Skate Jeff and his bro in law and gave them some slabs and then Terry showed up and we started to catching a lot of fish. A little after Terry and Ray showed up Chad ( chadilac ) and mike showed up and we had a fishing frenzy going on. Nice to meet you Chad and Mike and good to see you Jeff and Bill. We caught fish for a good two hours straight and then some thing unimaginable happened:
I CAUGHT A HYBRID !! --LOL-- First one in a year I didn't think I would ever get one but it snatched up the fluke I had soaking in the rod holder and MAN!! was I excited. I was so pumped up that by the time I got him in the live well I had all my rod and reels tangled up.

I was content for the rest of the day. But!! Terry and Ray put the hurting on 5 BIG Hybrids and it was a blast. Jeff and bill went home with some big sandies and Chad and mike were also catching a pile of them too. The wind was not that bad until the end of our trip which was about 3 pm.

There were quite a few boats out there and it looked like everyone was catching some fish. Also finally ran into Carey and his buddy and it was good to see you again Carey. Frank, everyone was asking where you were because you weren't sitting in the back of my boat.--LOL-- But I told them you were attending an engagement for a good cause and we missed you.

Heck of a day out on the lake. I tried out my new Picwic cheiftain slabs that glow in the dark from moestackleshop.com and you were right Moe That is going to be one of my favs because the were hammering it. I caught mostly sandies and only about two yellows on them and I think the are the bomb. So folk ( sportfans ) y'all need to order some of these from moe's tackle . I am going to get some more for sure. Great day of fishing and It was blast with some great company Terry, Ray, Jeff, Bill, Chad and mike. I cleaned 20 Fat sandies and my one and only Hybrid and it was good on the grill

We caught 3 limits of sandbass and hybrids. My 9 yrs old son out fish us today with 8 hybrids all by himself.

Hey Keith, good to see ya out there. It was a heck of a day out there! Glad you got ahold of a good fish! I got a kick out of your "non-guide" posting so I figured I'd comment on your thread instead of the other two that beat me getting posted hahaha! We slayed fish today with over 150 sandbass and 9 hybrid. And yes folks, those were 150 ACTUAL fish, confirmed with a clicker, no BS. kept 75 sandies and 7 hybrids. What a day! I'm so glad my customer didn't want them all cleaned. My back would hurt all night hope to see every one tomorrow!
