February 19, 2012 Started off with a 20+ mph. cold north wind. First thing you do is find some well protected water and hope the wind slows down like the weatherman said. Dan is from the West Coast and is new to fishing in Texas. He had no problem catching his first Speckled Trout, and it was over 21". He also caught a big Sheephead and some more Specks?? Jarred was the first to land a Flounder and first to land a Speckled Trout. Most of the fish we caught were on Texas Trout Killers, but caught a couple on live shrimp. It was kind of slow, we had to fish hard to get a bite, as the fish seem to be scattered. One fish here, one there, but everyone stuck with it and grinded out a decent day of fishing. The wind did calm down and the heavy coats came off. Today turned out to be a beautiful Texas Winter Day.(having trouble with pictures, can go to website) www.luckylindycharters@yahoo.com
