Have a trail star trailer that won't fit in garage. Wondering if tongue can be converted to a swing away? I believe that would be enough for my boat to fit in straight instead of angling it to take up all the garage space. Any recommendations who can do this? Any cons to doing this? I live in NE part of San Antonio.

Fulton makes a DIY swing tongue kit. I looked at the kit, but felt better that I had a removable tongue built which allows me to slip out almost 4ft. of tongue, and no moving parts. There are lots of swing tongues out there, so they must be doing their job. Safe boating...

Peering over the transom at 50mph to find that
elusive "smooth spot" is just plain poor
judgement.
