A few weeks ago (before the heavy rains) I went out there to check it out, but the entrance gate was shut and locked. I don't know if it is permanently closed or what....?
You could fish Indian Creek just before this turn in though

Indian Creek will be on your right hand side of boat club road as you head north towards the Creek Harbor Camp, before you reach the turn in to CH on the left. Yes, it has picnic tables, parking lot, etc.
I have also seen people fishing across the road from Indian Creek as well. I think it is a couple of bucks to fish at Indian Creek if you choose to fish from their facilities.
Hope this helps...
