Anyone still fishing Lake Ray Hubbard for Crappie? Needs some spots to catch them.

Just got back from fishing with my friend at his slip we did pretty decent..

ARE there a fishing barge on Ray Hubbard? Where could I Fish?

Fishing at the Harbor Bay barge can be hit or miss.

Do you know of anybody catching any crappie lately there? When is the last time that you fish there?

was just there with a buddy of mine on saturday. Got there around 7 and left about 1. Only two keepers, both of which i didnt catch they were given to me. Fishing there and at lakeside seems to be very slow, hopeully things will turn around.

I went there on Tue. Feb. 7th and caught only 2 keepers. The bite that day started around 7:30, and it did not last long.

I went back for more abuse on Thur. Feb.9th, for more abuse, and caught 2 more keepers. I got there that day around 8:30 and there was 8 people fishing. Caught 3 fish right after I got my line in the water. Bang, bang, bang!!! Then it died!!!

Don't get me wrong. You will catch some fish there but not the numbers or the size we would hope for. It's a hit or miss situation. The crappie are just not in there yet.

Starting to get a little crowded inside the barge. Fish did well until approx. 10am in which maybe 30 keepers had been pulled out. Hitting both jigs and minnows today.

I've heard that there are no crappie in Hubbard... or Lewisville.

I fish at the barge around Dalrock. I have been for years, although I still couldn't tell you the "real" name of it.

Yesterday caught three crappie, two were keepers. It closes at midnight though, and that is when they were just starting to hit. Didn't catch anything for hours before, 11:30 came around and it was hitting hard for everyone.
