I was wondering what y'all thought about the Classic being held on Grand next year. I have a feeling it's gonna be a little chilly.

It could be cold for sure. Grand can put out some good sacks that time of year though. Only problem I see is from what I saw weigh in is over an hour from the lake in Tulsa. I would think that trip to and from the lake would kill alot of fish and alot of the observers won't want to make the drive back and forth.

Unless things have changed around there, there isnt much Lodging and Tulsa is the nearest town with alot of Lodging, I think its a mistake to have it there, not many will travel back and forth to watch takeoffs in the mornings. IF oyu are going I would book rooms now !!1

Any idea on what ramp they will use. Grand has alot of ramps but most are 1 lane ramps and many of them are hard to load and unload on as well.

Yeah the drive to Tulsa, fiddle fart around, then have a weigh in, then drive the fish back to Grand. That is a lot of travel time for the fish. Sad part is they will probably dump them in the nearest lake instead of going back to Grand. Those fish will be out of the lake for probably 12-14 hours. The only thing that will help will be the temps. If it was a summer tourney the mortality would be unreal.

I have me a bed and breakfast set up for next year up there. LOL! My HS FB coach lives in Bixby. And they have told me I will have a place to stay while I am up there.
