I used em on bobbys boat. Seems like a good, well built rod. But for the price, my money goes to pro angler.

I know a few guys that use them and they chose them because they were white and more easily seen at night while fishing. They have the stainless guides also. They are pricey. I'll stick with proangler. I see them just fine at night.

well for me it will be about the same!!!i am gunna order from the net!!! since i live in wichita falls i would have to pay the gas money to go to the Pro Anglers not to mention the 2 hr drive, unless i had some biz in the area i likely doubt i will anytime soon, which would cost more then just ordering off the net!!

and price wise thethe P.A. rod is $69.00 shipped and the Team Catfish is $62.90 shipped not much of a difference

The thundercat that is 54 dollars is their channel cat rod. The bigger, blue cat rods are $99.

Make sure you use a reel seat clamp.

Chad reviews the rods on www.learntocatchcatfish.com.

Here's the page:

Not sure about your personal preference, but I believe they are 2 piece rods.
