Taking a buddy out who is new to fishing, any good reports of anything going on at Whitney? Figured I'd try and put us on some whites, hybrids....Thanks!

There are no Hybrids in Whitney that I know of, and I don't know where the White Bass are currently.
RealBigReel I don't go too fast but I go pretty far.

I am not a white bass fisherman, but I draw some conclusions about whites by the number of pickups I see on the bridge over the Nolan on HW 933 south of Blum... there have been a lot of them up there lately, so I am guessing the whites / sandies are running up in the river..

Actually RBR, there are some hybrids in Whitney. In fact, the record currently is a 15#! To be sure, they are few and far between, but never say never. Especially, when it comes to the Brazos fisheries.
