This is a NON-sanctioned event, just a "social" gathering of ChampioN owners from TX,LA,OK that we're having at Belton lake Temple, TX. Launch site is Belton landing at the end of route 2305 (west adams ave) off of I-35. Fee is $20/boat/team and $5/person BF. Places paid based on 10 boats. Blast off time is 0700 weighin is at 1500 (3pm) following weighin will be a "pass the hat" BBQ of burgers and dogs with the fixin's. The legendary Pat Goff jr. will be there for setup ?'s and advise. Come and join your fellow Champion owners for a day of fellowship, lie swapping, bragging and fun. this is a BYOD (bring your own drink) event. Sunday from 0700-1200 will be an impromptu event if interrest is there.This way all attendees will get a good jump on their return home. PG may bring radar gun to keep us all honest. We mighteven have a few drags races. If you need accomodations contact Skip Bishop@marthab@stonemedia.com or myself. Skip is trying to get a group rate at area motels. Please reply NLT 3/1/03, with your responses we would like to have a good turn out.
