havent been there in a month or so. hopefully the rain raised the level a little bit. if so, look for the shad running in the creeks that hold timber. that was a good spot this time last year. if not, stick to the main lake points and you will catch something.

I rarely catch numbers on Joe Pool, but what I do catch is usually a good size. There are a few humps south of the bridge in the west arm that have held fish this time of year. When I say hump, I mean a depth change of 2 feet. The lake rose a foot, so they should be worth finding.

What would Gary Dollahon do if he were here today?

I was last out about 7-8 days ago. Kinda windy for my taste. but I found some largemouth on stumpy main lake points. When the wind died down(about an hour before dark) tried the ridge out from Lynn Creek park. No black bass, but had a rodeo with the sandies until dark.
