Me and a buddy have decided to adopt two new techniques that we are both unfamiliar with and learn them. We decided to pick the same techniques so we can learn from each others mistakes or confidence.
1) Spoons (not my choice, but something I need to learn)
Where should I find spoons and what sets them apart from one another?

2) Swimbaits (definetely my choice)
Where should I start? What is the most user friendly way to get started?

The spoon thing can be done several ways. Vertically using your electronics similar to dropshotting. Also casting like a flutter spoon(worked several ways). YouTube has several videos

Lake Fork Flutter Spoon, and a Huddelston swim bait. I believe you can get them both from Tackle Warehouse.
