Looking for a new dropshot/shaky head rod...which of the two? That Savvy micro guide looks pretty nice.

Duckett spinning 7M. You will be impressed at far you can throw light shakey heads and get a good hook set. I had my best shakey head day (24 lbs) on this same rod and never lost a fish. My 10 yr old son fishes same rod for drop shot. He catches a ton of fish with it. Rod really serves better as a shakey head but it's hard to have a rod that will be ideal for both. But this rod will work.

I like a 1 or 2 power rod for Dropshot, and prefer a 3 power rod for shaky head. The savvy 703 is an awesome rod!

For the money, the Savvy is the way to go. If you want a sensitive rod the DX Champion Extreme is the way to go. I like the 703 for shakey heads.

My shakey rod is a dobyns 733. The length makes for easier hookups on the sweep set. I don't break as many off.
